A Taste of the Atlantic was born from a desire to elevate and celebrate the rich tapestry of Indigenous culture on the East Coast. Through a world-class dining experience and immersive cultural elements, this event aims to uplift, empower, and connect all. By sharing stories, honouring traditions, and creating meaningful connections, we seek to foster a deeper appreciation for Indigenous culture. Our goal is to build bridges toward reconciliation and offer a platform where our vibrant heritage shines, inspiring and uniting people through the timeless tradition of feasting and celebration.
We intive you to celebrate New Year’s in unforgettable style at A Taste of the Atlantic, a visionary festival of Indigenous cuisine, culture, and community crafted by Chef Jenna White, founder of Jenna’s Nut-Free Dessertery. Hosted by the Indigenous Tourism Association of New Brunswick. This year’s event at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre in Menaquesk features an extraordinary feast of the senses led by Canada’s Top Chef Shane Chartrand alongside Chef White and a lineup of celebrated Indigenous chefs from Atlantic Canada and beyond. Indulge in an exquisite five-course dinner that honors ancestral traditions and showcases Atlantic ingredients.
